Dog Daycare
Your dog will enjoy a fun, structured day in our Dog Daycare 2.0 program under the watchful supervision of our highly trained staff. Each day includes engaging group play, balanced with scheduled private-room nap times to prevent overstimulation and keep everyone happy and healthy. We carefully group dogs by size, age, temperament, and play style to ensure safe, positive interactions.
Dog Boarding
Underdog Kennels offers a variety of boarding accommodations, from spacious private rooms to luxurious VIP suites with custom-made twin beds and flat-screen TVs with DVD players. We also feature a Special Room Service Menu with grilled grass-fed ribeye steak, Atlantic salmon fillet, boneless chicken breast, and Frosty Paws doggy ice cream for dessert. When you travel, your dog deserves a relaxing, fun-filled vacation too.
Dog Grooming
We provide full-service dog grooming in our relaxing Paw Spa. Our experienced team delivers attentive, gentle care to help your dog look and feel their best. Services include baths, nail trims, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning. Please note: we do not trim or cut fur.

Our Frequent Player Discounts are like Forever Stamps – there is no time limit to use them; they NEVER expire. This is a huge advantage at Underdog Kennels, compared to most other dog daycare facilities.
All Daycare Guests go out 3 times each day for bathroom breaks.
Any guest requiring VIP DAYCARE will be charged an additional $4 per day.

All Overnight Boarding Guests go out 4 times each day for bathroom breaks. Complimentary Daycare is included with all Overnight Boarding stays. Our Overnight Boarding guests receive Daycare 7 days per week.
For anyone checking out Monday through Friday, you are welcome to stay past the standard 11:00 AM Checkout Time, but will be charged $18 for a Late Checkout – Extra Playtime Fee, and can stay until 7:00 PM.
Any guest requiring VIP DAYCARE will be charged an additional $4 per day.

For guests who want some extra play or who prefer to play only with humans, we offer Private Playtimes. Fetch, tug, chase, massage/tummy rubs, story time – you name it. Whatever your dog prefers, we’re happy to provide it – just let us know their favorite activities.

1. What services does Underdog Kennels offer?
We are an all-in-one dog care resort in Dallas. Under one roof you get dog daycare, overnight boarding, and grooming in our Paw Spa, all run by the same award-winning team.
2. Where are you located?
Our new home is at 8900 Premier Row, Dallas, TX 75247, right by Love Field and the UT Southwestern Medical District.
3. Did Underdog Kennels move?
Yes. As of April 28 we moved to a brand-new, purpose-built facility just down the road from our old spot. It is bigger, more modern, and gives the dogs even more room to roam, with the same team you already know.
4. Is the first visit really free for new customers?
It is. New customers get their first visit free. Just reach out to our owner, Rob Cottingham, at (214) 724-9071 and he will get you set up and answer any questions.
5. What are your hours?
Monday through Friday we are open 7:00am to 11:00am and 3:00pm to 7:00pm, with the lobby closed midday. Saturday is 8:00am to 10:00am, and Sunday is 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
6. What makes Underdog Kennels different from other dog resorts?
We treat every dog like family. You get luxury amenities, fun seasonal activities, strong safety practices, and a professional, highly trained staff. We have also been voted one of the best dog daycares in Dallas multiple years running.
7. Are you opening another location?
Yes. A new location serving the McKinney, Frisco, and Prosper area is on the way in early 2026.
